Akron's older residents deserve strong support and a community designed with their needs in mind. Strengthening the Commission on Aging and collaborating with stakeholders helps ensure seniors have access to the services, connections, and resources that support healthy, independent lives.

Returned Commission on Aging meetings to City Hall to strengthen coordination and improve public access.
Filled five Commission vacancies with community leaders spanning senior care, health, civic engagement, and advocacy.
