Outdated zoning rules make it harder to build new homes and open businesses in Akron's neighborhoods. Updating these rules removes unnecessary barriers and gives residents, developers, and entrepreneurs clearer paths to invest in their communities.

Implemented the Merriman Valley Master Plan and Summit Lake Land Use Plan to guide public and private investment.
Drafted and implemented a zoning code amendment limiting the concentration of vape shops in neighborhood business districts.
