Reduced overtime shift limits for AFD from 10 to 3 per day to ensure that our firefighters and EMS professionals are getting proper rest between shifts to take care of themselves appropriately.

Released an RFP to find a vendor to conduct an AFD fee study that will evaluate the rates and cost effectiveness of AFD services.
Implemented adjusted overtime staffing limits to reduce fatigue risk for firefighters and EMS personnel.
What We’re Working on Next Quarter
Working with the selected consultant to finish the APD staffing study, expected to be completed in Spring 2026.
